The balance of payment of a country not only has a great impact on the operation and development of domestic economy but also has an important influence on the monetary policy and foreign economic policy. Thereby, it can impact the international trade and international economic relationship, having an obvious influence on the international political relationship as well. With the analysis on the China's international balance of payment during the recent years, the changing trend and structural features in international balance of payment, the reasons and adverse effect of long-term favorable balance, this paper elaborates on the importance and urgency of improving and adjusting the current international balance of payment.
