Assets can be divided into four categories:cash,practicality,credit and security.People get their income through the operation and exchange of various kinds of assets.With the method of marginal analysis in asset allocation,this article proves that the income of urban househohts depends on two factors:risk and yield of assets operation between different kinds of assets. Under the analytical framework of asset operation,households are similar to manufacturers in asset operation.
