| 摘 要： | 葛雷森是赫德的重要助手,赫德把他推荐给李鸿章,受到了李鸿章的重用。他忠于职守,毫不客气的指出赫德订造的军舰有缺陷,赫德认为他投靠了李鸿章,忘恩负义!又给李鸿章推荐了琅威理。赫德与葛雷森之恩怨,对研究中国海军史来说,也是颇为重要的。

| Abstract: | Clayson was an important assistant of Robert Hart.He was recommended by Hart to Li Hongzhang and appointed to an important position.He was devoted to his duty,bluntly pointed out the defects of the warships ordered by Hart.However,Hart accused him of being ungrateful after working for Li Hongzhang! So Hart recommended William Metcalfe Lang to Li.The gratitude and resentment between Hart and Clayson are important to the study of the history of the Chinese navy. |
