新制度经济学的理论演进及其逻辑起点

新制度经济学的发展可分为两个阶段:拓展领地的阶段和整固领地的阶段。拓展主要体现为从企业组织上打开缺口后,向契约、产权、法与经济学、公共产品、公共选择、制度演变等领域扩展的过程,其理论源于科斯对“企业性质”的探讨;整固则体现为对理论的梳理综合,是以恰当的方法将其形式化,使新制度经济学成为具有内在逻辑一致性的理论过程,其逻辑起点在于对“契约”的分析。新制度经济学发展到今天,亟须进行这样的综合工作。

On the Evolution of New Institutional Economics and Its Logical Starting Point

New Institutional Economics is divided into two stages for the sake of convenience: the stage of expanding its domain and that of renovating and consolidating its theoretical system. The former reflected the evaluative progress-from the nature of the firm to contract, then to property rights, to public selection, to law and economics, and finally to institutional change; the latter summed up the above theories in an appropriate way. The logical starting point of New Institutional Economics is the analysis of the Contract.
