“城市性”与中国城市化进程的文化转型

从一定意义上讲,"城市化"就是"城市性"的文化类型和心理状态形成的过程.中国由于受传统农业文化和前30年计划经济体制的深刻影响,城市化进程中文化的转型明显滞后,传统的依赖人格、等极观念、小农意识、封闭保守心态等等已经成为中国城市化进程的巨大内在阻力.只有更新文化机制,建立起与现代城市相匹配的以权利性、公民性、法治性为核心的文化系统,才能消除城市化深层文化障碍,实现社会的顺利转型.

Urbanness and Cultural transformation in China's Urbanization Process

In a sense,"urbanization" refers to the process of the formation of cultural stereotypes and psychology of "urbanness".Due to traditional agricultural culture and 30 years' planned economic system,cultural transformation in China's urbanization is obviously lagging behind.And such traditional ideas as reliance of personality,hierarchy,petty peasant consciousness and feudal conservatism have become a strong internal obstruction in China's urbanization process.The only way to eliminate this obstruction and achieve social transformation is to establish a new cultural system compatible with modern cities which is characterized by due consideration of rights,citizenry,and rule by law.
