| Abstract: | Iconicity of language exist widely in English and also Chinese poems from phonetics, vocabulary, syntactic and even to texts. The features of iconicity in English and Chinese poems are nearly the same, but they also have shade differences. This essay will discuss the similarities and differences between them from imagic ieonicity, diagrammatic iconicity and metaphorical ieonicity. |
