| 摘 要： | 梁启超的“新小说”观念，作为现代中国小说理论批评“逻辑起点”的重要构成内容，鲜明地体现着偏重小说社会功利性的现代理论诉求。其以“小说界革命”、“小说为国民之魂”、“小说为文学之最上乘”等为鲜明思想标志的“新小说”理论批评，使中国小说理论批评在小说的价值观念、本体观念、类型观念、叙事观念乃至小说文论话语方式等方面发生从古典向现代的急遽转换，呈现出勿庸置疑的现代性特征。
