| 摘 要： | 以批评语言学理论为基础,针对美国主流媒体《纽约时报》、《华盛顿邮报》、《洛杉机时报》和《达拉斯晨报》上关于中国西藏的社论语篇进行分析,通过对西方关于中国民族问题新闻报道的透视,探究语言的意识形态功能,提升读者对英语社论进行批评性阅读的能力。

| Abstract: | The present article applies the theories of Critical Linguistics to the analysis of five sample editorials concerning Tibet of China.These editorials are taken from American mainstream newspapers,the New York Times,the Washington Post,Los Angeles Times and the Dallas Morning News.It is intended to explore western reports on Chinese ethnic issues and ideological functions of language and contribute to public critical reading ability of English editorials. |
