| 摘 要： | 1938—1942年,胡适奉命出任驻美大使进行战时外交。蒋介石、孔祥熙、宋子文等人对胡适的牵制和排挤,前任王正廷的遗留问题,构成了胡适使美业绩的多重制约因素。尽管如此,胡适无疑仍是一位称职合格的战时外交官,也是"学人外交官"的杰出代表。

| Abstract: | From 1938-1942,Hu Shih served as the ambassador to the United States for the National Government and thus started his diplomatic career in the War of Resistance against Japan period.The researcher pays attention to the factors that restrained Hu's depolarization,including the suspicion or even expelling from Chiang Kai-shek,Kong Xiang-xi and T.V.Soong etc,the remaining problems handed down from his predecessor Wang Zheng-ting-Nevertheless,Hu Shih could be regarded as a qualified diplomat in times of war as well as an outstanding representative of scholar diplomats. |
