“花”的隐喻研究

摘    要:从认知语义的角度以概念隐喻理论中的实体隐喻为理论参照,对比分析“花”在汉语中,古今隐喻意义的变化及“花”在现代英、汉语中隐喻意义的异同,笔者发现现代汉语中“花”的隐喻词项大大增加了,一些隐喻词词义发生了改变,“花”作为始源域的映射范围越来越广。英、汉民族在认知上义词“花”上有相同点,在感知其下义词上有很大的差异,这与各民族的语言、思维和文化传统有关。

Abstract:On the basis of ontological metaphor in conceptual metaphor theory, this paper comparatively analyzes the change of metaphorical meaning of "flower" in Chinese from the old days to nowadays and the similarities and differences of the meaning of "flower" in English and Chinese from the perspective of cognitive semantics. It is found that the metaphorical expressions of "flower" have increased and some have altered. The scopes of source domains of "flower" have extended. People of two nations have some similar basis of cognition in understanding the superordinate "flower" and great differences in its basic level categories such as plum blossom, chrysanthemum, orchid and lotus. The differences are related to people's language, thought and culture.
