近代杨文会的佛学教育及其现代启示

摘    要:杨文会被誉为“中国佛教复兴之父”。晚清国势衰微,杨文会提出以佛学教育振兴佛教,拯救人心,进而振兴中国。他主张佛学人才必须具备文化素质、道德素质和科学精神,通过兴办佛学学堂、刻印流通佛经、建立佛学研究会等教育实践培养佛学人才。杨文会的佛学教育思想和实践在思想文化革新、人才综合素质培养、文化强国缔造、教育条件及教育方法等方面为现代教育提供了有益启示。

Abstract:Yang Wenhui is known as "the father of Chinese Buddhist revival". Chinds power was on the decline in the late Qing dynasty. Yang Wenhui proposed to use Buddhist education to revitalize Buddhism , enlighten people, then rejuvenate China . He advocated that Buddhist talents must have cultural quality, moral quality and scientific spirit . He also advocated that Buddhist talents training must be carried out through educational practice, such as setting up Buddhist schools, engraving and printing Buddhist texts and establishing Buddhist institutes. Yang Wenhui's thought and practice pro- vide enlightenment for modern education in many aspects such as ideological and cultural innovation, cultivation of comprehensive qualities, creation of cultural power,educational condition and methods.
