中西翻译方法论的历时对比研究

翻译方法论是翻译研究的重要基础。翻译研究的每一次突破都是和翻译方法论的变革分不开的。虽然东西方翻译方法论经历了十分相似的初期发展阶段 ,但是由于现代的西方翻译方法论引入了语言学理论 ,使得西方翻译研究水平处于领先地位。目前我国翻译界正处于一个讨论与厘定有中国特色的翻译理论体系的时期 ,必须重视语言学理论在翻译方法论研究中的重要作用 ,同时吸取其它相关学科的理论 ,探索并建立有中国特色的翻译方法论

Diachronic comparative study of Chinese and Western translation methodologies

Translation methodology is the foundation of translation research. Through the diachronic comparative study of the Chinese and western translation methodologies, it is clear that each progress in translation research resulted from the evolution of translation methodology. Although Chinese and western translation methodologies share a rather similar initial stage, the latter achieves the leading place in translation research because it employs many relevant theories, especially modern linguistics. Accordingly, at current stage when Chinese researchers are arguing and trying to establish the translation theory with Chinese features, it is of great importance to emphasize linguistics and other disciplines to formulate a Chinese translation methodology.
