20世纪以来中国善书研究的回顾与展望

善书(或称劝善书)是一种劝善戒恶的书籍,在中国传统社会曾经广为流传并产生过深刻的影响。与此相关,对中国善书的研究较早得以展开,并取得了相当丰富的研究成果。大致而言,20世纪以来的中国善书研究在中国大陆、港台地区、日本学界及欧美学界有不同的问题意识和学术关怀,并逐渐形成了三种主要研究路径:宗教史、思想史和社会史。梳理近百年来中国善书研究的学术史脉络,有助于进一步推进中国善书研究,亦即可以看到中国善书研究的三种可能走向,包括书志学的继续推进,横向的社会史视野和纵向的思想史视野。正是在这个意义上,中国善书研究仍有很大的学术空间。

Review and Prospect of the Researches on Chinese Morality Books Since the 20th Century

The Morality books （Shanshu） was an important genre in traditional China, especially had a great effecton it. Thus there is a long history of researches on Chinese morality Book, and the scholars have made important a-chievements. Generally speaking, the scholars from Chinese mainland , Tai Wan and Hong Kong, Japan, Europeand America academic circles have different problems consciousness and academic concern and gradually form threemain approaches of the researches on Chinese morality books： history of religions, history of ideas and social histo-ry. Reviewing the researches on Chinese morality books since 20th century can further the studies of Chinese moral-ity books. By doing this, we can summarize three possible research trends： the thorough study on bibliography ofChinese morality books, the transverse view of social history study and the vertical view of ieals history. It is for thethree research trends that we can do more researches on Chinese morality books
