摘    要:元认知策略在学习策略体系中占据主导地位,因此是培养学生自主学习能力的关键。本文分析了我校英语专业学生自主学习能力薄弱的现状和原因,提出加强元认知学习策略的指导和训练是提高学生自主学习能力的关键。

Abstract:Metacognitive strategy plays a dominant role in the system of learning strategies and is the key to cultivating students' ability of autonomous learning. This essay analyzes the weakness of the English majors' ability of autonomous learning and the causes for it and then suggests that it is crucial to strengthen the guidance and training of the students' ability of autonomous learning.
