| Abstract: | In China's history, Wei, Jin, Northern and Southern Dynasties is a time of turmoil and disruption, in spite of this, Water transport from southern to northern China still develop slowly because of the need of political control and military actions, which is the historical foundation of the Great Canal in Sui Dynasty. |
