试论死刑执行方法的改革

死刑的执行方法是刑罚执行制度的一个重要组成部分。从死刑执行方法的发展历史看 ,最初的死刑执行方法繁多且残忍 ;随着人类文明和科学技术的发展 ,死刑执行方法逐步趋向人道。在 2 0世纪 ,枪决成为世界各国的主要死刑执行方法 ,在我国也不例外 ;但是用枪决方法执行死刑有很多弊端。毒剂注射执行死刑的历史相对较短 ,但是有其他执行方法无法比拟的优点。权衡枪决和注射两种方法 ,我国应采用毒剂注射作为统一的死刑执行方法。
