| Abstract: | During the Anti-Japanese ar period the economy of Hengyang experienced a rapid growth with its industry,commerce,transportation coming to the top of the Hunan Province,even ranking one of the first in China,i.e.,the third place in paying tax besides Chongqing and Chengdu.Hengyang made major contributions to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. |
