On the Ethos of Today’s Political Poetry

At the present time,political poetry has an ethos different from the traditional political poetry.A political poet expresses his unique and personalized experiences of current political affairs and in breaking through the confinement of the political ideology and oppression,the poet finds a way to express his independent spirit,free will,skepticism,critical stance,intellectual and moral power,and personality.This article makes an examination of today’s political poetry of three categories in an attempt to reveal the ethos of today’s political poetry.
