中日大学外语学习者负动机影响因子对比研究

摘    要:结合文献研究与40题项问卷分析,以41名中国宁波大学和36名日本和歌山大学外语学习者为研究对象,实证调研教师、学习环境、语言文化和学习者四类负动机影响因子对中日两国高校外语学习者的影响烈度,对比分析两国学习者负动机影响因子的共性特征与个性差异.定性定量实验结果显示:两国受试在教师、语言文化和学习者三类影响因子上的烈度排序和题项均值差异显著.因此,应尝试从文化专有性视角探讨中日两国外语学习者不同负动机表现的深层根由及其内在关联,减弱或消弭学习者负动机因子的存在

Abstract:Together with a literature review and a 40-item questionnaire survey,this article investigates the influence intensity of four demotivators,namely Teachers,Learning Contexts,Language & Culture Background,and Learners,on 41 EFL learners from China’s Ningbo University and 36 counterparts from Wakayama University of Japan to compare correlated similarities and discrepancies.The qualitative and quantitative results of this study indicate significant differences on the intensity ranking and item means of the three demotivators of Teachers,Language & Culture Background,and Learners between the two subject groups.With this finding,this article analyses the reasons of subjects’ disparate demotivating behaviors from culturally specific factors,so as to reduce or minimize learners’ demotivators.
