| Abstract: | Motivated by his hope to reform China's politics, Tan Sitong studies Western theories in the framework of the Chinese traditional culture and tried to reform the Chinese traditional culture with his adopted Western theories. As a result, his political thoughts were a combination of Western and Chinese traditional thoughts. |
