| 摘 要： | 英汉谚语是学习研究英汉语言与文化不可缺少的钥匙,但是英汉谚语的翻译却并非易事。关联翻译理论为动态灵活翻译英汉谚语提供了一个新的视角。在关联翻译理论的框架下,为达到翻译的最佳交际效果,译者必须综合考虑原文作者的意图和译文读者的认知语境,选择适当的翻译方法,使英汉谚语的译文具有最佳关联性。

| Abstract: | English and Chinese proverbs are the important keys to the study and research of English and Chinese languages and cultures. However, their translation is not easy. Relevance translation theory offers a new basis to translate English and Chinese proverbs dynamically and flexibly. Based on relevance translation theory, translators consider the intention of the source writer and the cognitive context of the target readers, choose the most appropriate method to translate English and Chinese proverbs, and make their translation optimally relevant so as to gain the best communication. |
