"龚魏"与政治理想人格重塑

清代道咸年间,龚自珍、魏源为重塑政治理想人格,对理论上以“心”为君子品德之核心、价值取向上以道德驭势、利、名,内涵上以“仁”与“廉耻”相关联和方法上重“自省”与“节俭”、“位”与“德”结合等方面作了系统的学理阐述。同时,对寡廉鲜耻、贪求富贵,才求无益、德为乡愿,虚文故事、庸议误国,奢华无度、败坏风俗,麻木不仁、漠视国耻等卑劣品德作了深入揭露和批判,并积极诉诸实践,在学术上追求去空求实学风,在政治上施政因时而变,办事雷厉风行,以达到重塑政治理想人格之目的。

On Gongzizhen and Weiyuan's Forging of the Ideal Political Characters

During the period Daoguang and Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty,Gongzizhen and Weiyuan tried to forge ideal political personalities: they regarded heart as the core of gentlemen's moral characters and took virtues as tools to control the official's powers and influences.They strengthened the ties between humanity and sense of shame and emphasized self-examination and encouraged frugality,advocating virtues of officials in key positions.In the meantime,they exposed and criticized the mean virtues such as shamelessness,corruption,wealth and rank worship, and mediocrity.They made active efforts to achieve their purpose.
