| 摘 要： | 语言是思维的物质形态。英汉语民族思维方式由于受各自哲学和文化的影响,其思维倾向各有特征,主要表现在英语民族重抽象、分析、客体思维,而汉语民族重形象、综合、主体思维。他们的思维特征有其哲学渊源,在语言上也有不同的体现。

| Abstract: | Language is the material form of thinking. Influenced by their different philosophy and cult-ure, English and Chinese people possess different characteristics in their thinking patterns, which are mainly manifested in that abstract, analytical and objective thinking modes are often used in English, while imaginative, comprehensive and subjective thinking modes are mostly accepted in Chinese culture. Their thinking modes are deeply rooted in their philosophy and also embodied in their languages. |
