| 摘 要： | 科学精神和人文精神作为人类认识活动的结晶,对图书馆产生了深刻影响.图书馆具有悠久的人文传统和人文精神,现代科学技术在图书馆的广泛应用又极大激发了图书馆的科学精神.然而两种精神的失衡与分离,背离了图书馆的真正目的,而走向新世纪的图书馆必将是两种精神的融合.

| Abstract: | The scientific spirit and humanistic spirit, as the quintessence of human recognition, have exerted profound influence on library, which has a long history of humanistic tradition and spirit. The wide use of modern science and technology in library has greatly stimulated the scientific spirit of the library. But the unbalance and separation of the two kinds of spirit has gone against the real purpose of the library. So it is necessary for a new century library to blend the two kinds of spirit. |
