摘    要:FSK集团公司的管理规则、媒体对FSK自杀事件的报道以及中国的城乡二元户籍制度等三个因素,对FSK自杀事件起到了主要的推动作用。第一,军事化管理规则,强化了员工的异化感、孤离感和被剥削感,从而导致利己失范现象和自杀可能性的增加;第二,媒体对自杀事件的高度曝光诱发了潜在的自杀模仿效应,从而增大了之后自杀事件发生的可能性;第三,户口登记制度对农民工的限制,导致了心理的极度脆弱,从而加大了员工自杀的风险。

Abstract:Three major factors,namely,Foxconn’s management policies,Chinese media’s reports on the Foxconn suicides,and the rural-urban household registration system in China,have contributed to Foxconn’s series of suicides.First,Foxconn’s military-like management policies on assembly lines and campus life increase the sense of alienation,isolation,and deprivation,which increases the state of egoism-anomie.The state of egoism-anomie increases the likelihood of suicides.Second,the high publicity of Foxconn’s suicides contributes to an increased likelihood of subsequent suicides in Foxconn by provoking potential imitative suicides.Third,the constraints imposed on the rural migrant workers by the household registration system limit Foxconn workers’ choices.
