韩、柳的意趣及其古文走向之辩

韩、柳的意趣表现在众多的方面,韩主儒排佛,柳主儒且认为儒佛同宗,但他们坚执了共同的古文道统;现实生活的,导致他们的自省诉求,古文的兴味虽在儒学,但韩致力于古文之醇,明道不移,柳则从以文明道转化为对以文传世的追求;韩、柳都深于情、不免于以文为戏且好开新,但韩愈为文的浩博之气不同于柳宗元的简古之风,韩愈的好为人师自觉肩负了宣扬古文和古道的责任,柳宗元则缺乏这样的自觉意识,以淡泊人生一度走向山水。

On Han Yu's and Liu Zongyuan's Inclination and Their Prose Trend

Han Yu and Liu Zongyuan's inclinations lay in various aspects. Han Yu asserted Confucianism and repelled Buddhism. Although Liu Zongyuan also stood for Confucianism, he thought that it was of the same clan with Buddhism. They both stuck to the same prose tradition. However, the rough reality caused them to express their ideas differently. Han devoted himself to the pure prose and had never changed, while Liu transfer red from using the prose to express his views, into pursuing to hand his work down. Both of them were deep in emotion and preferred to play in words while initiate new things. But, different from Liu's simplicity in his prose, Han's work had greater momentum. Han Yu, prefer ring being a teacher automatically, shouldered the responsibility of advocating ancient prose and trends. Whereas Liu was lack of this consciousness, and had once departed from the convention and approached to the nature.
