| Abstract: | As a special language art, the humorous language embodies a person' s competence of active use of language. The analysis from the pragmatic perspective shows that humor is a special effect that the speaker and the listener will reach in the given context by means of compre hensive use of pragmatic knowledge and language ambiguity. |
