摘    要:多项选择题虽然是客观性测试中最广泛使用的题型之一,在语言测试界曾风靡一时,但它的不足之处已被越来越多的专业测试人士所认识. CET- 4听力试卷全部采用这一题型,其实已影响其信度与效度,对外语教学亦产生负面后效作用.对此,需要改进题型设计与考试内容.

Abstract:The multiple-choice question is one of the most widely used techniques in the objective test, which enjoyed a great popularity in the language text circle for quite a while. However, more and more professional testers have realized its limitations. The complete section of listening test in CET-4 includes the single type of multiple-choice questions, which not only affects the reliability and validity of the test but also results in the negative aftereffect upon the foreign language teaching. And this calls for an improvement of both the design and content of the test.
