浙江海洋文化的前世今生（一）

浙江是著名的文物之邦，擅山海之力，得人才之盛。不仅地理环境得天独厚，而且人文传承源远流长。人类文化有两个鲜明特征，一个是地域性，一个是历史性。船行四海，港通天下，浙江海洋文化因海生成，因船启航，拓展了中国的造船史和航海史；历块过都，越海跨洋，贯通古今中西，培育了浙江人乘风破浪、开拓进取、兼容并蓄、同舟共济、敢为天下先的人文精神。浙江海洋文化在世界海洋文化史上具有鲜明的地域特色和历史地位。

Marine Culture in Zhejiang Province: the Past and the Present(1)

Zhejiang is a land famous for its relics,mountains,seas and talents,unique for its geographical environment and profound for its humanistic heritage which can be traced back to ancient times.Human culture has two distinctive characteristics,the regional one and the historic one.With ships and ports connecting the world,Zhejiang started its marine culture due to seas,and developed it due to sailing and shipping,thus enriching China’s shipbuilding history and maritime history.By crossing the seas and oceans,connecting the past with the present and bridging the west and the east,people in Zhejiang have cultivated the spirit of bravery,pioneer,progressiveness,inclusiveness and initiative,willing to help each other in the same boat.Therefore,Zhejiang’s marine culture has a distinct regional characteristic and historical status in the world’s history of marine culture.
