There is no reliable record as to when the Statutes of the Great Ming was introduced into Korea.But according to the History of Koryo, the Statutes of the Great Ming was introduced into Korean Peninsula by the end of the Koryo Dynasty.At the time the Koreans had already known the necessity of implementing the statutes.It is only after the founder of the Korea Dynasty Lee Cheng gui came to the throne that the statutes were implemented in an all round way in Korea.Owing to the differences between two cultures,the introduction of the Statutes of the Great Ming gave a great shock to and had a great impact on the Korean society.
