前文字、类文字、广义文字学——三议“广义文字学”研究

所谓“广义文字学”是以文字学研究为基础的跨学科综合性研究,它不是对“狭义文字学”研究的简单颠覆,而是一种研究视角的转换,标志着文字学研究的新领域和新方向。在“广义文字学”之下,从纵向的符号发展史的角度探讨原始图画和成熟文字之间的关系即是“前文字”;从功能的角度讨论符号、文字、图画以及语言等不同表达手段在人类表情达意中的共同作用,讨论广义的“文字”在现代生活中的应用和视觉转换问题,讨论现代的符号创意活动,为基于网络的新媒体提供符号的基础支撑,即是“类文字”。“前文字”和“类文字”具备不同的价值,两者都是“广义文字学”的有机组成部分。

Pre-writing,Quasi-writing,and Generalized Philology---Further Study of Generalized Philology

The study of generalized philology is an interdisciplinary research based on study of writing, which is a shift of research perspective and marks orientation to new territory, rather than simple subversion of the study of narrow-sense philology. Under the study of generalized philology, the relationship between primitive drawing and formal writing is explored from the perspective of sign＇s historical development, which is the study of ＇pre-writing＇; roles of sign, writing, drawing and language in communication, application of ＇writing＇ in a broad sense and its vision shift in modern age, sign related creativity in modern life and so on are discussed from the perspective of function, so as to provide a semiotic support to webbased new media, which is the study of ＇quasi-writing＇. Both ＇pre-writing＇ and ＇quasi-writing＇ have their own importance and are organic composition of ＇the study of generalized philology＇.
