Social Relief of Management Lianghuai Salt in the Qing Dynasty

In the article,we discuss in historical details the obsective and subjective causes of the social relief in the Lianghuai salt government affairs in the Qing dynasty,owing to the adverse living circumstances,the frequent natural calamity,the stable salt production and the assurance of the income from the salt affairs.We aslo discuss that the ways of social relief,the imperial policy relief and the people-to-people relief were the two main forms of the social relief.Finally,we expose that all those officials in charge of the Lianghuai salt affairs were the true manipulators.
