正式语与非正式语--浅谈语体风格的区别

根据不同的情景选择应用不同的语体 ,是英语语言学变体理论中重点强调的内容。在实际语言教学中 ,各种语体风格的区别 ,特别是正式语与非正式语的区别 ,对于提高他们实际运用语言的能力至关重要 ,而在我们以往的教学中 ,却往往忽视这一点。结果 ,甚至很多语言能力相当强的学生 ,对语体的运用也多半只局限于一种形式。因此 ,我们应该帮助学生分辨正式语与非正式语的差异 ,最终能够正确地使用这两种语体 ,而这项工作 ,应该从初学者的起步阶段就开始做起

Formal style and informal style - A brief analysis of the differences of styles

Using different styles in different situations is a most important factor in English linguistic varieties. In our practical language teaching, it is significant to know the stylistic differences, particularly the differences between formal and informal styles, which has long been neglected in our language teaching. As a result, many students can only use formal style English in most situations even though they have acquired a good knowledge of English language. Thus, what we should do is to help students identify the differences of formal and informal styles and eventually use them properly. This process should begin from the very beginning of the language learning.
