樊炳清及其维新译介运动中的译书

樊炳清是晚清维新时期译介运动中以日本为驿站引进西学较有影响的代表人物之一.在1898年至1903年之间,他自日文译出各种学问的基本书籍30余种,多被当时新兴学堂采用为教科书而广泛流布,为近代中国科学和思想的启蒙做出了较为突出的贡献.但长期以来,学界对其人其译鲜有研究,致使其人在学术思想史上湮没不彰,名与时俱废.

Fan Bing -qing and His Versions in Reform Movement

Fan Bing-Qing is a representative personage among those importing Western Learning by translating Japanese works in reform movement at last Qing-dynasty.The category of books that he translated Japanese works outstripped thirty from during 1898 to 1903;most of them were adopted as textbooks and broadly circulated.These versions have made outstanding contribution to Enlightenment of science and thinking of China.But for long time,there is little people researching him and his versions,leading to he was forgotten and was not known gradually in the history of systematic learning.
