| 摘 要： | 人类语言的相似性和人类文化的相通性决定了不同语言与文化之间总体上是可译的。但不同民族的语言与文化都具有一定的特殊性，而这种特殊性便决定了文化的可译性应是个“度”的问题。是一个相对的概念。

| Abstract: | Intedingual / intercultural translation is generally possible due to the similarities between different languages and cultures. Translatability between any two languages and cultures serves as the theoretical basis of translation studies. However, languages and cultures are to some extent unique, which means intercultural translatability is a matter of degrees. By adopting a contrastive study of cultural differences between Chinese and English, the author tries to probe into the relativity of cultural translatability in C/E and E/C translation of words, idioms, sentences and texts. |
