论华莱士1944年访华

美国总统罗斯福为了实现其关于远东和太平洋地区的战略设想，维持战时盟国之间的合作，确立战后以大国合作为基础、以美国为核心的世界新秩序，于1944年6月派副总统华莱士访问中国。华莱士此行的主要目的是调解国共矛盾与中苏关系。这次访问，在一定程度上鼓舞了中国人民的抗战士气，巩固了国共合作统一战线，对二战后期美国的对华政策也产生了重要影响，是抗战时期中美关系史上的一次重要事件。

On Wallace 1944 Visit to China

American president Roosevelt assigned his vice president Wallace to visit China in June, 1944, in order to implement his strategic assumption concerning the Far East and Pacific region, maintaining the cooperation between the wartime allies and establishing a new world order which was based on cooperation of ＂America core＂. The main purpose of Wallace＇ visit is to mediate the conflict between Kuomintang and the Chinese Communist Party and also the relationship between China and Soviet Union. This visit, to a certain extent, aroused the morale of Chinese people in the Anti-Japanese War, consolidated the Chinese united front, and had effects on the American policy toward China in the final stage of the Second World War. In this respect, Wallace＇ visit should be looked upon as a significant event in the history of Sino-American relation in the Anti-Japanese War.
