摘    要:近现代中国历史上先后发生了两次启蒙运动,在面对传统文化和西方文化的选择上,第一代启蒙思想家表现出了犹豫,而第二代启蒙思想家则坚决地与过去一切划清界限.表现在文学创作上,伴随着这种启蒙观念的演进,带来的是叙事上的变化、文体上的革新.现代小说的叙事方式初具雏形.

Abstract:Modern Chinese history saw two movements of enlightenment. During the first movement, the leading thinkers seemed irresolute when they had to choose between the traditional culture and the western culture. In contrast, the torchbearers of the second movement resolutely threw away the traditional culture. Along with such conceptual evolution came changes that constitute the embryos of the narrative mode of modern Chinese novels.
