This paper holds that Plato' s view on life-and-death is not only rich and distingushing, but also scattered in every part of his philosophy. Based on this kind of understanding, the basic content of Plato's view of life-and-death was evaluated.The paper contains five parts which described the relations between life-and-death and cosmos, idea, soul, knowledge, and society. Plato' s view of life-and-death has not only the concreteness of his age, but also the eternalness of transcending his age.
