论司马迁对柳宗元的影响

与柳宗元同时及后世评论柳文的人,都有指出其文“自史中来”的,他本人对这种继承,则概括为一个“洁”字。柳宗元深受司马迁的影响,是因为他们两人虽然不同时代,但却具有颇为相似的遭际,思想感情有相通之处。柳宗元研习《太史公书》,“忖度其心而得之”,进而体现在写作目的、内容选取、手法运用和遣词行文诸多方面。

ON THE INFLUENCE OF SIMA QIAN DVER LIU ZONGYUAN

All the commentators of Liu's time or after his thought h is articles had been based on Sima Qian's Shiji , but Liu himself cons idered this inheritance to be " noble character". The reason why Li u Zongyuan was deeply influenced by Sima Qian was that they both were born in different times, but they had very similar suffrings and they had nearly the same feelings to the people and society. Liu Z ongyuan studied Shiji, and he said:"I've learned a lot from it by stu dying what Sima Qian thought." This was fully embodied in his writing purpose, contents, methods, choice of words and building of sentences and so on.
