| 摘 要： | 本文追溯传统民本思想的发展历史,重点分析了民本思想的基本含义及其内在矛盾。民本思想的基本含义是:民是国家社稷的主体和根基;民心是发政施治的依据;最终意义上的主权在民;君明官贤,明刑罚,倡导德化,是民本思想的治道。

| Abstract: | This paper traces back the developing history of the traditional thought of people as its root and gives an analysis of its basic meanings and inner contradictions.The basic meanings are that people are the subject and root of the state;governing should be based on the morale of people;the ultimate power lies in the people;and the governing ways are through clever ruler,virtuous officials,punishment and moral. |
