| Abstract: | In this paper, context is divided into linguistic context and non- linguistic context, which consists of cultural context, situational context and pragmatic context. In terms of contextual analysis, it is stated that context plays a significant role in deciding the definite meaning of words and removing the ambiguous sentence in English-Chinese translation. |
