浅述如何认识社会主义发展的历史进程的意义

江泽民同志在2000年“七一”前夕召开的中央思想政治工作会议上发表的重要讲话中,提出了“如何认识社会主义发展的历史进程?”等四个重大理论和实际问题。2002年11月8日,江泽民同志在党的十六大报告中明确提出了在全党进行马克思主义发展史的教育的新要求。科学认识社会主义发展的历史进程,对于科学把握人类社会发展的历史轨迹,在全党和全国人民中树立正确的理想信念,极大地调动全国人民参与改革开放的积极性,激励全国人民全面贯彻“三个代表”重要思想,粉碎西方敌对势力对中国“西化”、“分化”的图谋,具有重要的历史意义和现实意义。
