| 摘 要： | 从《论语·颜渊》"棘子成曰"章注疏来看,各家对文质关系的认识可以分为四个阶段,由《论语集解》、皇侃《义疏》简单强调文、质之异,到邢昺《注疏》指出文、质之同,再到朱子以"质本文末"来重申文、质的不同地位,最终在船山那里发展成为"忠信为主,质内文外"思想。从清儒对"棘子成曰"章的疏解来看,船山关于文质关系的认识实际上已经发展成为一种经典诠释的方法论,在此方法的指导下,可以从训诂的角度获知,"鞟"字实际包含着文、质两方面的义涵,而"棘子成曰"章其实是围绕对"君子"概念的不同理解展开的。
