广州市行业工资差距变化趋势及其机制探讨

摘    要:本文采用新公式,计算广州市1984-2009年城镇职工与社会从业者工资基尼系数,发现广州市行业工资差距持续扩大并达到极化程度。进一步分析发现,垄断力量使得国有经济相对工资快速上升及其内部各行业工资差距快速扩大,对广州市行业工资差距极化现象产生了决定性作用,市场竞争使得其它类型经济行业工资差距稳定扩大,对广州市工资极化现象产生了一定程度的影响。

Abstract:In this paper,a new formula to calculate the wage Gini coefficient of urban workers and social practitioners in Guangzhou from 1984 to 2009 was applied and we found that the wage gap between industries in Guangzhou continued to expand and achieved the degree of polarization.The source of this phenomenon was: market competition made the wage gap of other types of economic sectors continued to widen,Monopoly made the wage of high-wage industries to show reasonable rapid rise in State-owned economy.
