传统季节调整方法对时间序列数据进行季节调整时,往往假定误差项为白噪声,不考虑其序列相关关系。为了进行更准确地季节调整分析,本文从连续性抽样调查的角度出发,研究基于平衡轮换样本调查的抽样误差对季节调整的影响,建立一般化的季节调整模型,利用卡尔曼滤波进行参数估计,并从预测误差、误差方差等角度评价模型精度。最后以中国城镇住户调查采用的12~0平衡轮换模式为例,对考虑抽样误差结构特征的季节调整模型进行实证分析,验证这套季节调整方法的有效性。  相似文献

 在改革开放的新形势下,我国政府统计部门开展了农村住户等一系列农村统计调查,为解决“三农”问题提供了多方面的数据信息。本文通过分析总结现行农村住户抽样调查方案中存在的各种矛盾和问题,利用国际上前沿的连续性抽样调查方法作为理论基础,分别从农村住户抽样框的构建、连续各期调查样本的抽取、二维平衡轮换模式的设计、连续性抽样估计及其方差估计和连续时间序列数据的调整分析等角度提出一系列改革措施,从而设计出更加科学的调查方案,为及时、准确地搜集和提供关于“三农”问题的数据信息服务。关于其它类型的抽样调查方案亦可按照本文研究的思路类似地加以设计和解决。  相似文献

We provide a method for estimating the sample mean of a continuous outcome in a stratified population using a double sampling scheme. The stratified sample mean is a weighted average of stratum specific means. It is assumed that the fallible and true outcome data are related by a simple linear regression model in each stratum. The optimal stratified double sampling plan, i.e. , the double sampling plan that minimizes the cost of sampling for fixed variances, or alternatively, minimizes the variance for fixed costs, is found and compared to a standard sampling plan. The design parameters are the total sample size and the number of doubly sampled units in each stratum. We show that the optimal double sampling plan is a function of the between-strata and within-strata cost and variance ratios. The efficiency gains, relative to standard sampling plans, under broad set of conditions, are considerable.  相似文献

The performance of the sampling strategy used in the Botswana Aids Impact Survey II (BAISII) has been studied in detail under a randomized response technique. We have shown that alternative strategies based on the Rao–Harley–Cochran (RHC) sampling scheme for the selection of first stage units perform much better than other strategies. In particular, the combination RHC for the selection of first stage units (fsu's) and systematic sampling for the selection of second stage units (ssu's) perform the best when the sample size is small where as the RHC and SRSWOR perform the best when the sample size is large. In view of the present findings it is recommended that the BAISII survey should be studied in more detail incorporating more indicators and increased sample sizes. This is because the BAISII survey design is extensively in use for large scales surveys in Southern African countries.  相似文献

The problem of sample selection, when a one-stage superpopulation model-based approach is used to predict individual variate values for each unit in a finite population based on a sample of only some of the units, is investigated. The model framework is discussed and a sample selection scheme based on the model is derived. The sample selection scheme is evaluated using actual data.  内容摘要:本文首先介?绍了样本轮换研究问题提出的背景和国内外研究现状。接着介绍了分层抽样下样本轮换的理论模型。包括分层抽样下样本轮换的估计量公式和最优样本轮换率的确定方法。再接着利用前面介绍的理论知识,结合上海市城镇住房空置率抽样调查数据进行实证分析。由于该抽样调查采取的是分层抽样,因此相应地用分层抽样下的样本轮换研究。先根据该抽样调查本身的特点和社会经济活动的规律确定样本轮换时间间隔为1年。再分别计算出各层的最优样本轮换率和总体的样本轮换率。最后分别对三层子总体样本轮换的效果进行分析,分析发现各层经过样本轮换以后的精度比不进行样本轮换或进行完全样本轮换的精度有了明显的提高,轮换效果显著。  相似文献

The sampling designs dependent on sample moments of auxiliary variables are well known. Lahiri (Bull Int Stat Inst 33:133–140, 1951) considered a sampling design proportionate to a sample mean of an auxiliary variable. Sing and Srivastava (Biometrika 67(1):205–209, 1980) proposed the sampling design proportionate to a sample variance while Wywiał (J Indian Stat Assoc 37:73–87, 1999) a sampling design proportionate to a sample generalized variance of auxiliary variables. Some other sampling designs dependent on moments of an auxiliary variable were considered e.g. in Wywiał (Some contributions to multivariate methods in, survey sampling. Katowice University of Economics, Katowice, 2003a); Stat Transit 4(5):779–798, 2000) where accuracy of some sampling strategies were compared, too.These sampling designs cannot be useful in the case when there are some censored observations of the auxiliary variable. Moreover, they can be much too sensitive to outliers observations. In these cases the sampling design proportionate to the order statistic of an auxiliary variable can be more useful. That is why such an unequal probability sampling design is proposed here. Its particular cases as well as its conditional version are considered, too. The sampling scheme implementing this sampling design is proposed. The inclusion probabilities of the first and second orders were evaluated. The well known Horvitz–Thompson estimator is taken into account. A ratio estimator dependent on an order statistic is constructed. It is similar to the well known ratio estimator based on the population and sample means. Moreover, it is an unbiased estimator of the population mean when the sample is drawn according to the proposed sampling design dependent on the appropriate order statistic.  相似文献

In this paper, the likelihood ratio approach is applied for measuring evidence provided by record data in favor of a hypothesis against an alternative under a random sampling scheme. Explicit expressions for probabilities of observing strong and weak evidences are derived. Asymptotic behaviors of these probabilities are investigated in a greater detail. Optimal sample size in which the substantial evidence reaches a desired level is determined. An illustrative example concerning records of times between consecutive telephone calls to a company’s switchboard is also analyzed.  相似文献

Previous work has been carried out on the use of double sampling schemes for inference from binomial data which are subject to misclassification. The double sampling scheme utilizes a sample of n units which are classified by both a fallible and a true device and another sample of n2 units which are classified only by a fallible device. A triple sampljng scheme incorporates an additional sample of nl units which are classified only by the true device. In this paper we apply this triple sampling to estimation from binomialdata. First estimation of a binomial proportion is discussed under different misclassification structures. Then, the problem of optimal allocation of sample sizes is discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, a new mixed sampling plan based on the process capability index (PCI) Cpk is proposed and the resultant plan is called mixed variable lot-size chain sampling plan (ChSP). The proposed mixed plan comprises of both attribute and variables inspections. The variable lot-size sampling plan can be used for inspection of attribute quality characteristics and for the inspection of measurable quality characteristics, the variables ChSP based on PCI will be used. We have considered both symmetric and asymmetric fraction non conforming cases for the variables ChSP. Tables are developed for determining the optimal parameters of the proposed mixed plan based on two points on the operating characteristic (OC) approach. In order to construct the tables, the problem is formulated as a non linear programming where the average sample number function is considered as an objective function to be minimized and the lot acceptance probabilities at acceptable quality level and limiting quality level under the OC curve are considered as constraints. The practical implementation of the proposed mixed sampling plan is explained with an illustrative real time example. Advantages of the proposed sampling plan are also discussed in terms of comparison with other existing sampling plans.  相似文献

利用大数据进行抽样,很多情况下抽样框的构造比较困难,使得抽取的样本属于非概率样本,难以将传统的抽样推断理论应用到非概率样本中,如何解决非概率抽样的统计推断问题,是大数据背景下抽样调查面临的严重挑战。本文提出了解决非概率抽样统计推断问题的基本思路:一是抽样方法,可以考虑基于样本匹配的样本选择、链接跟踪抽样方法等,使得到的非概率样本近似于概率样本,从而可采用概率样本的统计推断理论;二是权数的构造与调整,可以考虑基于伪设计、模型和倾向得分等方法得到类似于概率样本的基础权数;三是估计,可以考虑基于伪设计、模型和贝叶斯的混合概率估计。最后,以基于样本匹配的样本选择为例探讨了具体解决方法。  相似文献

内容提要:针对现存的各种单水平轮换模式和估计方法,本文提出一套统一的平衡单水平轮换模式。在此轮换模式下,引入两类相关关系,运用线性无偏估计方法,并通过使不同类型估计量方差的加权总和最小的方法确定最优系数,从而得到最优线性无偏估计量,不仅能够减少甚至消除估计量偏差的影响,还能使得连续性调查的整体抽样误差最小,适合估计各种类型的估计量。  相似文献

It is widely known that bootstrap failure can often be remedied by using a technique known as the ' m out of n ' bootstrap, by which a smaller number, m say, of observations are resampled from the original sample of size n . In successful cases of the bootstrap, the m out of n bootstrap is often deemed unnecessary. We show that the problem of constructing nonparametric confidence intervals is an exceptional case. By considering a new class of m out of n bootstrap confidence limits, we develop a computationally efficient approach based on the double bootstrap to construct the optimal m out of n bootstrap intervals. We show that the optimal intervals have a coverage accuracy which is comparable with that of the classical double-bootstrap intervals, and we conduct a simulation study to examine their performance. The results are in general very encouraging. Alternative approaches which yield even higher order accuracy are also discussed.  相似文献

In multi-character surveys, determination of sample sizes for studying various characters poses a difficult problem. In some situations, instead of observing the same units for all the characters it may be desirable to have some units observed for all the characters whereas some extra units for each character are observed separately. Such type of sampling has been defined here as sampling with partial enumeration. In the present investigation the efficiency of sampling with partial enumeration has been examined as compared to the usual two phase sampling for the study of only two characters.  相似文献

This article considers the issue of measuring segregation in a population of units that contain few individuals (e.g., establishments, classrooms). When units are small, the usual segregation indices, which are based on sample proportions, are biased. We propose a parametric solution: the probability that an individual within a given unit belongs to the minority is assumed to be distributed as a mixture of Beta distributions. The model can be estimated and indices deduced. Simulations show that this new method performs well compared to existing ones, even in the case of misspecification. An application to residential segregation in France according to parents’ nationalities is then undertaken. This article has online supplementary materials.  相似文献

Ranked set sampling (RSS) is a cost-efficient technique for data collection when the units in a population can be easily judgment ranked by any cheap method other than actual measurements. Using auxiliary information in developing statistical procedures for inference about different population characteristics is a well-known approach. In this work, we deal with quantile estimation from a population with known mean when data are obtained according to RSS scheme. Through the simple device of mean-correction (subtract off the sample mean and add on the known population mean), a modified estimator is constructed from the standard quantile estimator. Asymptotic normality of the new estimator and its asymptotic efficiency relative to the original estimator are derived. Simulation results for several underlying distributions show that the proposed estimator is more efficient than the traditional one.  相似文献

Ranked set sampling is applicable whenever ranking of a set of sampling units can be done easily by a judgement method or based on the measurement of an auxiliary variable on the units selected. In this work, we derive different estimators of a parameter associated with the distribution of the study variate Y, based on a ranked-set sample obtained by using an auxiliary variable X correlated with Y for ranking the sample units, when (X, Y) follows a bivariate Pareto distribution. Efficiency comparisons among these estimators are also made. Real-life data have been used to illustrate the application of the results obtained.  相似文献

为推动规模以下工业抽样调查工作以及解决当前调查面临的有关问题,本文对抽样设计进行了改进研究。首先,本文对规模以下工业抽样设计演变过程进行系统梳理,总结了现行抽样设计充分利用双重抽样框设计和综合运用三种抽样方法的特点。其次,针对园区层企业密度高的特点,探索结合园区因素改进地域抽样设计,对园区层和非园区层分别抽样,解决调查中面临的非抽样误差问题,并调整辅助变量使其与核心指标相关性均较高,确保抽样推断精度,有效提高抽样调查效率。并以我国东 部某省为例进行实证模拟得到结合园区因素抽样设计对调查工作改进的结论。再次,针对我国各级政府管理需要以及局队业务分工优化调整情况,介绍了规模以下工业样本追加理论和实证应用的主要研究成果。最后,在大数据时代数据来源广泛的背景下,本文在多重抽样框设计以及利用辅助变量提升样本轮换推断精度方面提出了进一步改进抽样设计的思路。  相似文献

Quadratic forms capture multivariate information in a single number, making them useful, for example, in hypothesis testing. When a quadratic form is large and hence interesting, it might be informative to partition the quadratic form into contributions of individual variables. In this paper it is argued that meaningful partitions can be formed, though the precise partition that is determined will depend on the criterion used to select it. An intuitively reasonable criterion is proposed and the partition to which it leads is determined. The partition is based on a transformation that maximises the sum of the correlations between individual variables and the variables to which they transform under a constraint. Properties of the partition, including optimality properties, are examined. The contributions of individual variables to a quadratic form are less clear‐cut when variables are collinear, and forming new variables through rotation can lead to greater transparency. The transformation is adapted so that it has an invariance property under such rotation, whereby the assessed contributions are unchanged for variables that the rotation does not affect directly. Application of the partition to Hotelling's one‐ and two‐sample test statistics, Mahalanobis distance and discriminant analysis is described and illustrated through examples. It is shown that bootstrap confidence intervals for the contributions of individual variables to a partition are readily obtained.  相似文献
