浅谈当代大学生的思想政治教育方法

随着我国社会经济的持续发展,为教育事业的发展创造了良好的环境。当代大学生的思想政治教育工作是学校重要的教育内容,也是党和国家工作的重要组成部分,是构建和谐社会主义的重要内容。因此加强大学生的思想政治教育已经成为当代大学教育要面对的首要问题。     

浅谈我国当代大学生思想政治教育的理性化

在对当代大学生进行思政教育的时候,教育者们往往忽略了一个重要的概念:理性化思想政治教育。理性化并不是理想化,可以用另外一种提法加以解释即理性的思维,理性的思维是理智的、哲理性的、科学的思维。在当今的时代背景下,思政教育要摆脱流于形式、缺乏发展性的困境就必须坚持以理性思维为指导,同时在实际工作中克服思政教育缺乏针对性、可接受性和实效性的痼疾,才能使我国的思政教育走上一个新的台阶,为社会主义和谐社会的早日建成奠定基础。

Contemporary Social Work Education and Psychoanalysis

For the first time, the use of psychoanalytic theory in all United States Graduate Schools of Social Work has been surveyed! A comparative discussion of CSWE statistics is related to the survey. Important shifts in student election of multiple methods are noted. Faculty utilization of multiple theories to understand behavior is also described The need for curriculum emphasis of any idea system to develop an appreciation of possibilities of practice adaptation is inferred.

思想政治工作进学生社区是当前高校思想政治教育工作面临的新课题,面临着观念缺乏、工作模式、工作难度与服务差距等诸多挑战。本文拟从思想政治工作进学生社区的思想观念、组织形式、管理机制、方法手段等方面的创新作进一步的探索,以增强学生社区思想政治工作的创新性和实效性。     

Contemporary Political Thought and Its Implications for Social Studies Teachers

When social studies students have a role in the processes of designing assignments, constructing rubrics, and conducting assessments, they participate in authentic democratic principles relative to their own learning. When given voice, choice, and ownership in their education, social studies students gain opportunities to strengthen their depth of engagement, expand their breadth of responsibility, and increase their degree of satisfaction. Concomitantly, incorporating genuine collaboration helps social studies teachers enhance their teaching effectiveness and improve their overall classroom assessment systems. Ultimately, these techniques help social studies teachers empower their students to live the social studies they are learning in class and apply the concepts to the contexts of their lives. Thus, the learning process becomes more meaningful, productive, and rewarding.     

International Student Exchange in Australian Social Work Education

International student exchange is pursued by Australian schools of social work as a strategy to engage with the internationalisation agenda set by government, universities, and the profession. However, little concrete information about the nature and scope of these activities exists. The study reported here aimed to address this gap. Twenty-seven of the 30 Australian universities that offer social work programs participated in an online survey about international student exchange activities. The results indicate that a majority of schools (n?=?23) do engage in such activities, with international field placements the most frequent form of exchange. Exchanges are most likely to be facilitated and managed by social work staff. The findings, and their implications for the development of good practice in international student exchange, are discussed. This research provides a “point-in-time” snapshot of international exchange in Australian social work education and a benchmark for future analyses of this expanding practice in the profession.     

Student Views on Good Practice in Social Work Education

This article focuses on the delivery of a social work degree programme in England, one of the constituent jurisdictions of the United Kingdom, and explores student perceptions of their learning experience and what constitutes effective teaching. The data are drawn from a larger research project which is ongoing and focuses upon the specific ways in which the BSc Hons Social Work degree at a university in the East Midlands prepares students to meet the demands of employers. Linked to the national evaluation of the new social work degree, social work academics at the university worked with final year social work degree students as co-researchers to evaluate student views on the quality of teaching practices across the teaching team.     

Student Nurse Education in a University Health Center

Abstract

Objective: This study assessed the association between ethnicity and family socioeconomic status (SES) as it relates to the prevalence of vaginal douching among female undergraduates in a university community. Participants and Methods: This was a cross-sectional survey conducted between September 2011 and February 2012 among 1,535 female undergraduates using a semistructured behavioral questionnaire adapted by the authors from previous research related to vaginal douching practice. Results: The overall prevalence of vaginal douching was 79.35% and the practice was significantly associated with the mother's age, ethnicity, low SES (educational level, occupation, and monthly income), and area of residence. The father's age and SES were statistically nonsignificant. Conclusion: Ethnicity and low SES of mothers were significantly associated with a higher prevalence of douching in daughters. These factors should be considered among others in any intervention to discourage vaginal douching among college women.     

Structure of University Education and Education for Social Work in Italy

The single-case design, with its potential integration of practice and research roles, has roots extending back to the “scientific charity” movement of the late 1800s. While the goals of “scientific charity” were never realized, the new research technology bears promise of achieving them. This background, together with the related experiences of behavioral psychology and of medicine, is briefly highlighted and the prospects, pitfalls, and challenges involved are discussed.     

Self-reflexive Student Research and its Implications for Social Work Education

This paper presents a thematic analysis of postgraduate social work student research on refugee and migrant experiences in Aotearoa New Zealand, collected in the last decade from one university social work programme. The focus is on the ways in which students located themselves in relation to their research, which explored diverse facets of refugee and migrant experience and was invariably connected in some way to their own experiences. Students not only learnt to conduct qualitative research, but also found that having been drawn to locate themselves within it for ethical reasons, their self-reflexive stance had enabled greater personal learning and in some cases, healing. This added greatly to their professional development and through the collation of their research reports it can be shown that for students, locating themselves in relation to their research may be a worthwhile part of learning to be a professional social worker.
