自主学习是一种优秀的学习习惯,有利于学生主体意识的唤醒以及知识的掌握和能力的培养。中职生自主学习能力的培养关键是需求的创造,它贯穿于学校人才培养的全过程,是一个复杂的系统工程,中职学校应努力加强中职生自主学习能力培养体系的构建。     

浅谈中职学校环境化学研究性课题的设计

中职学校化学新教材研究性课程的设置,为培养学生的科学精神和创造能力提供了重要的平台。学生研究性课题,重点应放在综合素质的提高以及创新精神和创新能力的培养上。对于学生在实践活动中所选择的方法和途径,教师要给予充分的肯定,鼓励学生大胆地创新。不要求学生完全按照教材、资料或教师预定的方案进行研究和学习,要放手让学生自己选题、自行设计、自主研究、自由创造。

浅谈汽车修理教学中的自主引导训练

自主引导训练学习是当前提倡以实践为主,理论为辅的主要应用教学手段,它强调学生自主参与,自主学习,自主实践以及自主创新能力的培养。自主引导训练要明确作业目的,鼓励学生自主学习;要转变教学观念,培养学生自主创新能力;要加强教学的双向交流,调动学生积极性;同时要不断提高学生的自主参与和自我更正能力。

A Tale of Three Cities: Teaching Online to Students in Shanghai from Hong Kong and Texas

SUMMARY

The University of Hong Kong collaborated with the Fudan University in Shanghai to offer a Master of Social Service Management (MSSM) part-time degree for students in Shanghai. While most courses of the program were taught by instructors sent from Hong Kong and other overseas countries on weekends and holidays, the “Information and Communication Technology in Social Service Organizations” course was offered online and supplemented by several face-to-face sessions. Instructors in Texas and Hong Kong collaborated and offered the course to the students in Shanghai. Teaching and learning online was a completely new experience for the students. Technical, social, cultural, and linguistic issues arose throughout the four months during which the course was offered. This paper shares the teaching experience and reflection of the instructors as well as the learning outcome and evaluation of the students.     

Using live supervision to teach counselling skills to social work students

This article reports on a research project which explored how anxiety can be managed when social work students receive live supervision as they are learning counselling skills. Eight social work students volunteered to participate in an eight session project in which they role played counselling sessions and received live supervision of their work. Their subjective experience of live supervision was elicited via survey reported surveys over the course of the project. They also submitted pre-and post-project recordings of their counselling role plays which were evaluated for changes in skill level. The participants’ survey results showed that, over the course of the project, each participant became less anxious about live supervision and came to find it a valuable learning experience. Their recorded role plays all showed improvements in skill level across a range of domains. The authors contend the establishment and maintenance of positive and trusting relationships between participants and between participants and the supervisor was crucial to the success of this project, as was attention to power dynamics and differences in learning styles. These results suggest that, under the right conditions, live supervision can be a valuable addition to counselling skills teaching strategies with social work students.

微观经济学课程教学的思考

微观经济学是经济管理类专业的必修课,也是教学难度较大的一门课程。文章分析了微观经济学课程的教学目标和教学特征,并从授课内容的选择、教学进度的安排、教学手段的运用等角度探讨了微观经济学的课程教学问题。     

Lessons Learned in Chat Room Teaching Internationally

SUMMARY

Web-based teaching opens new opportunities for international collaboration in offering courses to students. It also allows students to attend courses offered by instructors situated outside their own country. This paper presents the lessons learned from one such course offered by instructors located in Texas and Hong Kong to students residing in Shanghai studying in a collaborative Master of Social Service Management Programme (MSSM) between HKU and Fudan University. The course, titled “Information and Communication Technology for Social Service Organizations,” was offered twice in the past two years using an Internet-based class chat room supported by a course website and other web based tools. While the offering was successful based on student evaluations, many problems and issues had to be addressed. The course background, learning outcomes, lessons learned, and future recommendations are presented. In addition, an analysis of the Shanghai student IT applications is provided to help understand the current state of human services IT in China.     

Changes of high school English teaching model under the directions of new English Curriculum Standard（英文）

Communications around the world becomes common with the quickening of China’s reform and open door policies and widening of international communications,thus it is very pressing to modify the model of high school English class for students’concept of English use as a tool.This paper focuses on the change of English class teaching model in high schools under the direction of New English Curriculum Standard and its purposes and effects.     

Teaching economics across cultures: challenges and lessons learned in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan

Nine years of experience teaching economics in the Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan provides knowledge on the nuances and challenges of teaching economics across cultures. Particular categories and difficulties are presented with some examples of how to address them. Conclusions and findings are used to form general guiding principles for teaching economics in the increasingly diverse US classroom. The principles offered in the paper are valuable to English speakers providing economic teaching and training in post-Soviet nations and, more broadly, to anyone teaching economics across cultures. Finally, suggestions based these principles are offered to encourage all professors of economics to carefully consider language, illustrations, diversity of views regarding economics and the multi-cultural nature of university classrooms to better relate to students and be more effective teachers.     

体验式教学在高职《销售管理》课程中的实践

高职《销售管理》是一门应用性很强的课程,采用体验式教学有利于充分发挥学生学习的积极性和创造性。通过利用情境、协作、会话等学习环境要素设立各种全过程亲身实践、亲身体验、合作探究的学习程序,开展案例体验、项目体验、角色体验、公司体验等体验式教学,让学生参与到学习情境中,通过亲自操作和体验获得知识和掌握技能。     

研究性学习模式在本科审计教学中的应用

审计学是一门操作性很强的应用型课程。传统审计教学模式很难实现教学目标,而开展研究性教学可以很好地切合课程的特点,激发学生的学习积极性,提升课堂教学的有效性。文中分析了本科审计学教学采用研究性教学的重要意义,提出了采用研究性教学来整合教学内容、创新教学方法、构建新型动态开放的评价体系的思路以及研究性教学实施过程中应该注意的问题。
