This paper provides an analysis of the relationships existing between citizen participation and satisfaction levels within the framework of Spanish local administrations, additionally paying attention to the links between organisational size and the said participation and satisfaction levels. The results of a survey questionnaire answered by 388 Human Resources (HR) managers from the largest Spanish Town Halls were examined for these purposes. A claim is made both to increase the degree of citizen participation in public decision-making and to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective public services that can really meet citizens’ needs in Spanish town Halls. 相似文献

Mall是未来5~10年零售业发展的主要趋势,现在已经在中国呈现出迅猛发展势头,但也出现很多问题。以Mall的本质特征为基础,从体验管理的角度出发,在目标顾客、战略定位、交通、商店布局、商店定位、环境和服务等方面对中国Mall中存在的营销和管理问题进行了深入的探讨,并以世纪金源为案例加以分析。结果表明有:造成上述问题的根本原因在于Mall的设计和管理者对其本质内涵及定位没有深刻的理解和把握,没有充分考虑中国消费者的消费习惯而盲目照搬国外模式,以及缺乏科学的管理团队。最后,根据分析结果和经济现状提出中国大型购物中心未来营运管理的方向及建议。 相似文献

The Model Sustainable Agricultural Complex (MSAC) is a 600-acre farm south of Lafayette, Louisiana, operated by the Department of Renewable Resources at University of Louisiana. The Renewable Resources Department intends to overlay a priority commitment toward the advancement of agricultural sustainability in production, education, research, and demonstration activities. As we plan the Complex's longer-term future, we are drawing upon environmental business models such as Industrial Ecology, Environmental Total Quality Management, ISO 14001, and The Natural Step for guidance.This article compares the “outputs” of those models, asking the question: If we are running an integrated agricultural complex and we genuinely want to steer the complex toward sustainability, what do the different models tell us to do? The answers to this question are regionally important, because agriculture-as-usual in the Gulf Coast is both economically distressed and environmentally problematic. Big changes are both necessary and imminent, and the environmental business literature may well serve as a valuable source of guidance. 相似文献

Much recent writing on Human Resources Management (HRM) has emphasized the desirability of a committed workforce and the central role of HRM practices in establishing and maintaining such commitment. Little empirical evidence for such effects has been presented however, and the conceptualization of employee commitment has often been confused, failing to recognize its multi–dimensional nature. Researchers have sought to identify the antecedents of commitment, concentrating on personal/demographic, task, role and supervisory style variables taken from job satisfaction research. With regard to organizational and career commitment, it may be more fruitful to examine the impact of HRM policies and practices. Several studies undertaken by the authors demonstrating the impact on employee commitment of such HRM practices as selection, assessment, induction and training are reviewed, indicating the possibilities for research and practice in this area. Such studies also reveal some pitfalls in the over–simple, uncritical models of commitment often presented, and some paradoxical findings from the authors' own work are used to present a more adequate perspective on the commitment process. 相似文献

A centralized political context such as China provides a harsh environment for public involvement program that intends to
share decision-making power with the public, however, there are still learning opportunities that can survive and prepare
the public for a meaningful participation in the future. This article illustrates this point by designing a public involvement
program that is implementable and educational in Nanji Islands, China. The public involvement program is designed to solve
conflicts and tension regarding to an immigration plan between the public and local government and organized by a third party.
It includes information sharing, public representatives election, and negotiation meeting between public representatives and
governmental officials. The six-dimension framework from Alterman’s classic work is employed to test its feasibility within
the local context.

A model for evaluating the performance capability of a multi-organization system is introduced. The model is based on hierarchical-modular decomposition of the components which determine system performance up to the level where they can be measured quantitatively, or at least qualitatively, in an objective or subjective manner. Performance measures are obtained by incorporating these components into multi-attribute evaluation functions. The model provides decision makers with a tool for quantitative assessment of performance, identification of bottlenecks, a framework for ‘what-if’ simulation and a mean for conflict resolution during planning. Application of the model to the Israeli Water Resources Development System provides an illustrative example. 相似文献

Conflict is an inevitable part of work and relationships. How it is handled determines what can and cannot be accomplished personally, professionally, and organizationally. The pressures and complexities of health care interactions breeds conflicts that require constant, skillful negotiation. Increasingly, health care leaders are recognizing that proficiency at recognizing sources of friction before trouble flares up and at managing and resolving disputes that do break out is an essential part of their executive "toolbox."
