社会工作学术博士与专业博士培养模式的比较及其启示

目前我国社会工作学历教育体系已经涵盖了专科教育、本科教育和硕士研究生教育,然而尚未有院校单独开设社会工作专业博士点.美国社会工作博士教育发展历史较久,经验丰富,值得我国在建立和发展社会工作博士教育过程中进行借鉴.本文介绍了美国社会工作博士教育的培养模式及其特点,提出发展我国社会工作博士教育的四位一体战略,即培养目标具体化,课程设置统筹化,质量控制专业化,社工教育系列化.希望能够对发展我国社会工作专业教育、完善我国社会工作教育体系、建设宏大的社会工作人才队伍有所启迪.     

中国社会工作本土化教育模式探索

文章综合阐述了社会工作本土化的相关理论,分析了中国社会工作专业教育存在的问题：社会工作专业教育质量偏低;社会工作教育师资力量薄弱;社会工作专业教育中课程设置重理论轻实务;“拿来即用”现象依然存在,“本土化”特色不够。在此基础上提出了社会工作本土化教育模式的基本框架。     

“政校合作模式”下社会工作实习的实践及规范

社会工作实习在社会工作教育中的重要性不言而喻,但是,社会工作实习教育是当前中国社会工作专业教育体系中最薄弱的环节。随着＂政校合作模式＂的进一步深入,参与其中并影响其发展的高校社会工作教育也不断面临新的挑战和机遇,社会工作实习在＂政校合作＂的推进过程中问题重重。规范社会工作实习的运行,可从实习督导体系的建立与健全、实习评估机制的创设与规范、社会工作人才队伍标准化建设、社会工作研究介入等＂内外兼修＂的方面努力。     

试论留学生对民国社会工作教育本土化的贡献

社会工作教育在社会工作发展中处于先导地位，是社会工作的重要领域。在民国社会工作教育体系中，留学生通过取代外籍教师，促进了社会工作师资力量的本土化；通过变革教育内容，促进了社会工作教学的本土化；通过建设实习基地，促进了社会工作实习的本土化。种种迹象表明，留学生以独特的身份在民国社会工作教育本土化过程中做出了卓越的贡献。

凝聚专业智慧探求社会工作专业人才培养规律——“中国社会工作教育协会第八届年会暨社会工作人才发展规划与社会工作教育使命研讨会”综述

来自全国三百多所高校和机构近五百名代表出席了中国社会工作教育协会第八届年会暨社会工．作人才发展规划与社会工作教育使命研讨会。代表们围绕和谐社会建设与社会工作教育发展研究、政府社会工作人才发展规划与社会工作教育的任务、政府购买服务与社会工作教育的应对与发展、高校教师领办社会服务机构研究、社会工作专业化与本土化的实证分析、社会工作专业课程教学研究、我国MSW教育的经验与存在的问题分析、开展社会工作与社会政策研究等8个主题展开研讨,取得了丰硕成果。     

袁方教授的社会工作教育思想与学科建设实践

袁方教授是我国社会工作专业恢复重建的领军人物,是中国社会工作教育协会创会会长。他有深邃的社会工作教育思想,他认为社会工作是以社会学为理论基础,以社会福利和社会保障制度为依托、面对困难群体需要的专业社会工作。社会学是社会工作的宏观视野,社会福利和社会保障制度是开展社会工作的制度依托,专业社会工作是切实达致解决困难群体问题的手段。他认为社会工作应该走专业之路,社会工作教育要与实际部门密切结合。他的思想在社会工作专业恢复重建中发挥了指引方向的重要作用。     

中国社会工作发展史几个问题的讨论

在社会工作的整个学科体系建设中,中国社会工作发展史有着不可替代的地位与作用.了解和认识中国社会工作发展史,要从把握"一二三四五"入手,即一个基点:社会工作本土化,两条线索:教育线索、实务线索,三个特征:教育先行、社区为主、自上而下,四个阶段:引入阶段、发展阶段、蛰伏阶段、重建阶段,五个领域:社会工作实践史、社会工作专业发展史、社会工作学科发展史、社会工作教育发展史、社会工作研究史.     

论能力为本的社会工作教育模式构建

社会工作职业化进程的推进对社会工作人才培养提出了新的要求。社会工作专业的实践性和应用性使得社会工作专业教育更加注重大学生能力培养。为了实现这一目标,必须在教育环节构建能力为本的社会工作教育模式。如何构建这一模式,使之真正达到社会工作专业的培养目标,笔者进行了相关的讨论。     

After the Handover in 1997

This paper analyzes the development of social welfare, social work education, and the social work profession against the background of Hong Kong's socio-economic and political development before and after the historic 1997 transfer of sovereignty. The change from a British colonial regime to China's Special Administrative Region has not changed Hong Kong's welfare regime, which provides the context in which the social work profession and education developed. The welfare sector has been increasingly subject to managerialist control by the government. Marketization in higher education in general has resulted in the proliferation of social work education programs. On the other hand, social work education has ventured new directions of development to face up with the challenges of increasing globalization.     

社会工作视角下的生态福利社会化

社会福利是与民生、与社会工作密切相关的领域,生态福利作为社会福利的新的组成部分,更加强调作为个体的人与生态环境的互动。生态福利更强调社会应该为人类生存与发展所提供的好的生存环境以及物质福利与精神福利的双重促进。运用社会工作助人自助的理念和社会工作专业方法可以很好的将生态福利的服务推广和运用到生活中。生态福利社会化概念的提出,有利于扩大社会福利的内涵,唤醒公众关注社会福利的意识,促进社会全面发展。本文将从生态福利社会化的定义、社会工作与生态福利的关系、社会工作方法在生态福利社会化中的具体应用以及社会工作者在其中的角色等方面,对社会工作视角下的生态福利社会化进行探析。认为社会工作方法的应用有助于推进生态福利社会化,促进社会和个人良性互动、协调发展。     

Social work education: state of the art

In assessing the appropriateness of contemporary social work education to its context, the article assumes that social work practice and education must relate to its social reality. The article argues that, since the 1970s, that reality has changed in relation to the role of the welfare state, perceptions of economic growth and the independence of the state. As a result, the roles of civil society, the community and welfare personnel have changed, with implications for social work. At the same time, the earlier tendency of social work to avoid the major social issues of the day is no longer appropriate, and the article outlines five major issues needing to be addressed by social work. In conclusion, the article presents four options that social work education should, as a total profession, address, if the profession is to play the roles demanded of it by its contemporary social reality.     

Social work in South Africa at the dawn of the new millennium

The article examines recent developments in social policy and its implications for social work education and practice in South Africa. It traces the changes from the birth of democracy in South Africa to the dawn of the new millennium as these crucial years marked the beginning of a new era in South Africa's welfare history. It examines the challenges to social work and provides an example of the integrated, holistic developmental interventions, which are needed to combat social problems such as crime, AIDS and poverty. It ends with an examination of the implications of developmental welfare policy for social–work education as social workers are called to address mass poverty, unemployment and social deprivation through greater use of diverse social work methods, such as advocacy, community development, empowerment, consultation, networking, action research and policy analysis.     

Social work programmes in the social democratic welfare regime

In this article we examine the emergence of social worker training in the Nordic countries and discuss the possible effects that the social democratic welfare regime has had on such training. We also discuss the development in recent decades of the academisation of the training and the establishment of social work as a subject of research and teaching. The early history of social worker education is based on archival material, national inquiries and secondary sources. Our presentation of the recent history of social work education is based on the responses to a questionnaire sent to teachers of social work in 33 Nordic social work programmes, and on a survey of course syllabi and prospectuses. It is also based on the reading lists for the social work courses in these programmes.

Historical development and characteristics of social work in today's China

Social work education has experienced three stages since its introduction to China in the 1920s: introduction, abolishment and reinstatement. Theoretically, there are four types of social work in China: official–educational, official–practical, voluntary–educational and voluntary–practical. In practice, all four types of social work have not necessarily been embodied in each developmental stage, and the order of their historical development is not the same as the order of their logical development; i.e. some types are lacking in some of the stages. Each type of social work has its own characteristics, which are integrated into each development stage. Today, Chinese social work faces two major interrelated tasks: the professionalisation and the institutionalisation of social work. The former refers to the development of standardisation in Chinese social work; the latter has to do with the development of the social welfare institution in general and the development of institutional welfare in particular. In general, the dramatic development in Chinese social work largely depends on the accomplishment of the two tasks.     

The contributions of welfare typologies to international social work practices

This paper is concerned with the link between studies of welfare typologies and studies of international social work. Its objective is to show how welfare typologies could be used to strengthen the role of international social work practices to support international exchange of ideas on welfare issues. To meet this objective, three analytical tasks are implemented. The first task is to show that professional imperialism could weaken the potential of international social work practices to promote international exchange of ideas on welfare issues. The second task is to discuss the importance of welfare typologies in supporting the development of international social work by challenging professional imperialism. The third task is to discuss a research project on a defamilization typology. This project provides empirical evidence of the contributions made by welfare typologies to international social work practices.     

Social workers' attitudes towards social welfare policy

As social workers are widely called upon to take an active role in influencing social welfare policy, a better understanding of their views on the welfare state is crucial. This study examines the attitudes of 422 Israeli social workers from diverse social welfare agencies regarding social welfare policy. The framework for understanding these attitudes includes the notions of professionalisation processes, social work values, and the class position of social workers. The study's findings indicate that support for the welfare state is quite moderate and these reflect more the class affiliation of social workers than their professional values and the professionalisation process.     

The role of law in welfare reform: critical perspectives on the relationship between law and social work practice

This article considers the complex relationships between law, welfare policy and social work practice, in order to address the question of what role legal frameworks might play in achieving welfare policy and professional practice goals. It traces how law has developed as a core component of professional practice, and challenges some of the false expectations placed upon it. It then draws on findings from an international knowledge review of law teaching in social work education to propose a model for understanding how professional practice incorporates legal perspectives, and proposes ways in which legal frameworks can provide positive and constructive vehicles for accountable practice.
