In this paper, skip-lot sampling plan of type SkSP-2 with group acceptance sampling plans is proposed when the lifetime of the product follows the Burr-type XII distributions. The optimal parameters of the proposed plan are determined when two points on operating characteristics curve namely acceptable quality level and limiting quality level and the number of testers are specified. We also considered the Burr-type XII distribution to find the plan parameters. Several tables are given for practical use. We compare the results of proposed plan with the existing plans. Results are explained using real-world examples.  相似文献

SUMMARY This paper presents a design procedure for ChSP-4A(c1,c2)r plans based on Kullback-Leibler information and the minimum sum of risks. A table that gives the values of the parameters n and k indexed by the acceptable quality level (AQL) and limiting quality level (LQL) is presented, from which one can select a plan which gives a desired AQL and LQL when the producer's risk alpha= 0.05 and the consumer's risk beta = 0.10. A concluding remark for this series of five papers is given at the end of this paper.  相似文献

In this study, we propose three new sampling plans based on yield index CpuA for linear profiles with one-sided specifications, including the resubmitted sampling plan, the repetitive group sampling plan, and the multiple dependent state repetitive sampling plan. The operating characteristic functions of our proposed sampling plans are developed. The plan parameters of our proposed sampling plans are determined through nonlinear optimization. The plan parameters are reported for various combinations of acceptable quality level and limiting quality level. The three sampling plans are compared with the existing single sampling plan in terms of the average sample number. A real example is used to illustrate the applications.  相似文献

This paper demonstrates the use of maxima nomination sampling (MNS) technique in design and evaluation of single AQL, LTPD, and EQL acceptance sampling plans for attributes. We exploit the effect of sample size and acceptance number on the performance of our proposed MNS plans using operating characteristic (OC) curve. Among other results, we show that MNS acceptance sampling plans with smaller sample size and bigger acceptance number perform better than commonly used acceptance sampling plans for attributes based on simple random sampling (SRS) technique. Indeed, MNS acceptance sampling plans result in OC curves which, compared to their SRS counterparts, are much closer to the ideal OC curve. A computer program is designed which can be used to specify the optimum MNS acceptance sampling plan and to show, visually, how the shape of the OC curve changes when parameters of the acceptance sampling plan vary. Theoretical results and numerical evaluations are given.  相似文献

This paper presents tables based on the Poisson model, for the selection of skip-lot sampling plans of type SKSP-2, with a single-sampling plan which has a zero acceptance number as a reference plan. The indifference quality level (IQL) and the maximum allowable per cent defective (MAPD) are the criteria used for fixing the plan. Procedures for the selection of plans for given conditions of (IQL, average outgoing quality limit) and (MAPD, average outgoing quality limit) are also discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, variables repetitive group sampling plans are developed based on the process capability index C pk when the quality characteristic follows a normal distribution with unknown mean and variance. The sampling plan parameters such as the sample size and the acceptance constant are determined to minimize the average sample number. Symmetric and asymmetric cases, in percent defectives due to two specification limits, are dealt with for specified combinations of acceptable quality level and limiting quality level. Tables are provided and examples are given to use proposed plans in practice.  相似文献

Abstract

Acceptance sampling plans are quality tools for the manufacturer and the customer. The ultimate result of reduction of nonconforming items will increase the profit of the manufacturer and enhance the satisfaction of the consumer. In this article, a mixed double sampling plan is proposed in which the attribute double sampling inspection is used in the first stage and a variables sampling plan based on the process capability index Cpk is used in the second stage. The optimal parameters are determined so that the producer’s and the consumer’s risks are to be satisfied with minimum average sample number. The optimal parameters of the proposed plan are estimated using different plan settings using two points on the operating characteristic curve approach. In designing the proposed mixed double sampling plan, we consider the symmetric and asymmetric nonconforming cases under variables inspection. The efficiency of the proposed plan is discussed and compared with the existing sampling plans. Tables are constructed for easy selection of the optimal plan parameters and an industrial example is also included for implementation of the proposed plan.  相似文献

A multiple state repetitive group sampling (MSRGS) plan is developed on the basis of the coefficient of variation (CV) of the quality characteristic which follows a normal distribution with unknown mean and variance. The optimal plan parameters of the proposed plan are solved by a nonlinear optimization model, which satisfies the given producer's risk and consumer's risk at the same time and minimizes the average sample number required for inspection. The advantages of the proposed MSRGS plan over the existing sampling plans are discussed. Finally an example is given to illustrate the proposed plan.  相似文献

A two-stage group acceptance sampling plan based on a truncated life test is proposed, which can be used regardless of the underlying lifetime distribution when multi-item testers are employed. The decision upon lot acceptance can be made in the first or second stage according to the number of failures from each group. The design parameters of the proposed plan such as number of groups required and the acceptance number for each of two stages are determined independently of an underlying lifetime distribution so as to satisfy the consumer's risk at the specified unreliability. Single-stage group sampling plans are also considered as special cases of the proposed plan and compared with the proposed plan in terms of the average sample number and the operating characteristics. Some important distributions are considered to explain the procedure developed here.  相似文献

Sampling plans in which items that are put to test, to collect the life of the items in order to decide upon accepting or rejecting a submitted lot, are called reliability test plans. The basic probability model of the life of the product is specified as the well-known log-logistic distribution with a known shape parameter. For a given producer's risk, sample size, termination number, and waiting time to terminate the test plan are computed. The preferability of the test plan over similar plans existing in the literature is established with respect to cost and time of the experiment.  相似文献

A sampling plan with a polynomial loss function for the exponential distribution is considered. From the distribution of the maximum likelihood estimator of the mean of an exponential distribution based on Type-I and Type-II hybrid censored samples, we obtain an explicit expression for the Bayes risk of a sampling plan with a quadratic loss function. Some numerical examples and comparisons are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, and a robustness study reveals that the proposed optimal sampling plans are quite robust.  相似文献

In this article, a new variable acceptance sampling plan has been developed using the multiple dependent state repetitive sampling scheme for the normal distribution. The plan parameters have been determined so as to minimize the average sample number while satisfying the producer's and the consumer's risks under the operating characteristic function. The multiple dependent state repetitive sampling scheme has also been extended to the case of utilizing an auxiliary variable. The proposed sampling plans are compared with the existing sampling plans.  相似文献

By means of a search design one is able to search for and estimate a small set of non‐zero elements from the set of higher order factorial interactions in addition to estimating the lower order factorial effects. One may be interested in estimating the general mean and main effects, in addition to searching for and estimating a non‐negligible effect in the set of 2‐ and 3‐factor interactions, assuming 4‐ and higher‐order interactions are all zero. Such a search design is called a ‘main effect plus one plan’ and is denoted by MEP.1. Construction of such a plan, for 2m factorial experiments, has been considered and developed by several authors and leads to MEP.1 plans for an odd number m of factors. These designs are generally determined by two arrays, one specifying a main effect plan and the other specifying a follow‐up. In this paper we develop the construction of search designs for an even number of factors m, m≠6. The new series of MEP.1 plans is a set of single array designs with a well structured form. Such a structure allows for flexibility in arriving at an appropriate design with optimum properties for search and estimation.  相似文献

Various continuous sampling plans have been proposed for monitoring the quality of continuous production processes. The multi-level continuous sampling plan of MIL-STD-1235C (1988) is designated as CSP-T Plan. CSP-T plan is a three-level tightened continuous sampling plan. It requires a switch to 100% inspection, at any level, whenever a nonconforming unit is found. This provides quick rectification in the event of a shift in quality. In this paper certain performance characteristics of CSP-T plan are derived using the approach of Stephens (1979) under the assumption that the production process is in statistical control. For the selection of CSP-T plans, two tables are given. These tables can be used to obtain parameters i (clearance interval) and f (sampling fraction) of the CSP-T plan for given acceptable quality level (AQL) with producer’ risk α=0.05 or the limiting quality level(LQL) with consumer’ risk β=0.10 and the outgoing quality limit(AOQL). Two examples are also given to illustrate the selection of plans from these tables  相似文献

In the traditional plan for assessing the reliability of a measurement system, a number of raters each measure the same group of subjects. If the system has a large number of raters, we recommend a new set of plans that has two advantages over the traditional plan. First, the proposed plans provide greater precision for estimating the intraclass correlation coefficient with the same total number of measurements. Second, the plans are flexible and can be adapted to constraints on the number of times any subject can be assessed or the number of times any rater can make an assessment. We provide a simple tool for planning a reliability study, access to the software for the planning in the case where there are constraints and an example to demonstrate the analysis of data from the proposed plans. For the conventional type-II hybrid censoring scheme (HCS) in Childs et al., a Bayesian variable sampling plan among the class of the maximum likelihood estimators was derived by Lin et al. under the loss function, which does not include the cost of experimental time. Instead of taking the conventional type-II hybrid censoring scheme, a persuasive argument leads to taking the modified type-II hybrid censoring scheme (MHCS) if the cost of experimental time is included in the loss function. In this article, we apply the decision-theoretic approach for the concerned acceptance sampling. With the type-II MHCS, based on a sufficient statistics, the optimal Bayesian sampling plan is derived under a general loss function. Furthermore, for the conjugate prior distribution, the closed-form formula of the Bayes decision rule can be obtained under the quadratic decision loss. Numerical study is given to demonstrate the performance of the proposed Bayesian sampling plan.  相似文献

In this article, we propose a method of planning and determining the optimum parameters of a SkSP-R skip-lot sampling plan by using the attribute double sampling plan as the reference plan. The SkSP-R plan is a new type of skip-lot sampling plan which has a provision for re-inspecting the submitted lots. The optimal plan parameters of the suggested sampling plan are estimated with the target that the average sample number be minimized and satisfying both the specified producer's as well as the consumer's risks simultaneously. In order to obtain the optimum parameters, tables are also built for different combinations of the acceptable quality level and the limiting quality level in conjunctions with different producer's and consumer's risks. An illustrative example is provided for the implementation of the suggested plan. The advantages of the suggested plan over the existing conventional sampling plans and other existing skip-lot sampling plans are also described.  相似文献

Single sampling plans are widely used for appraising incoming product quality. However, for situations where a continuous product flow exists, lot-by-lot demarcations may not exist, and it may be necessary to use alternate procedures, such as CSP-1, for continuous processes. In this case, one would like to be able to understand how average performance of the continuous sampling procedures compares to the more commonly used single sampling plans.

In this study, a model is devised which can be used to relate plan performance between single sample lot acceptance procedures and Dodge's(1943) CSP-1 continuous sampling plan. It is shown that it is generally not possible to match up performance based upon operating characteristic curve expressions for the two plans. Instead, the plans are matched by equating expressions for π(p), the long run proportion of product which is accepted, under both procedures. This is shown to be equivalent to matching up properties on an average outgoing quality basis. The methodology may be extended for any derivative plan under MIL-STD-1235B (1982), the military standard for continuous acceptance sampling.  相似文献

Lieberman and Solomon (1955) introduced multi-level continuous sampling plans and Derman et al. (1957) extended them as tightened multi-level continuous plans. MLP-T plan is one of the three tightened multi-level continuous sampling plans of Derman et al. (1957). In this paper, we restrict our discussion to MLP-T plans with two sampling levels. Using a Markov chain model, expressions for the average outgoing quality, the average fraction inspected and the operating characteristic function are derived. Four tables are given to enable selection of MLP-T plans with two sampling levels when the acceptable quality level or the limiting quality level and the average outgoing quality limit are specified.  相似文献
